TCC Staffing Changes and Announcments

by Charlie Plaine, Chairman

20th September 2013

As part of our continued effort to improve our organization and better serve the needs of our community, we've made a few changes to our staff that we'd like to share with you today.

Continuing Committee

First of all, we're proud to announce that Nick Yankovec [nickyank] has agreed to join our team as the Second Edition Brand Manager, effective immediately. Nick will be heading up all of the logistics behind our Second Edition teams, including managing the Creative, Design and Rules staff. Together with the existing First Edition Brand Manager, Jordan Leung [FrakkinPhoenix], Nick will be a huge asset for The Continuing Committee's longevity and ability to produce quality work on schedule.

Secondly, we are excited that Neil Timmons [ntimmons] has accepted the official position of Vice Chairman and will no longer be The Continuing Committee's Director of Marketing. For all of his time working as part of this organization, Neil has been a vital member of the team providing financial advice and logistical support. Since the vast majority of his work had little to do with Marketing, we felt it disingenuous to retain that title for his position.

With this change, Neil's role will remain the same as it has been, and the Marketing Department will officially report to the Chairman instead of the Director of Marketing, which is a position we are retiring. The Art, Writing and Web departments will continue to function at the high level that we have set for them, but we'll be able to have a org chart that better matches how we operate.

We strive constantly to do the best work we can for this community, and we want you to be a part of the process and work to ensure we are accountable. We thank you for your continued support and faith in our efforts, and look forward to continuing to serve you for many more years to come.
