The Observation Lounge

About six months ago, after hearing a lot of feedback that there was a need for more communication and more dialogue between myself, the CC, and the community, I created a monthly Google Hangout series called The Observation Lounge. My goal was to improve on the progress we'd already made and turn The Observation Lounge into a forum for anyone in the community to discuss anything on their mind, in an open forum. As we head into the final part of the year and make plans for 2016, I'd like to bring The Observation Lounge to even new heights with even more participation.

The Observation Lounge is approximately one (1) hour of conversation that rotates around the calendar to allow for the widest variety of players from around the world to participate. All episodes are not only streamed live, but recorded on The Continuing Committee's YouTube channel for later viewing. Topics are picked from community members on the panel, following along in the chat room, and suggestions submitted before the hangout itself. In addition, news and current events will be shared and discussed.

We are currently soliciting votes for Episode 6 of The Observation Lounge. As usual, I have offered three possible times when I am available and will host the episode the time when the most people are willing and able to participate. In addition, the form allows any community member to submit topics for discussion. To vote on the time and submit topics, please visit and complete this form.
