2017 North American Continental Championships

The Trek players of Minnesota and the Upper Midwest are excited to welcome everyone to this year's North American Continental Championships, coming this July 13th through 16th. We had an incredible time in 2014 with all the players that came to participate, and we can't wait to have you all join us this summer!
The events will once again be held at Fantasy Flight Games Center, the retail store owned and operated by FFG at their corporate headquarters. If you've been to the Twin Cities to play Trek in the last few years, then you already know how truly exceptional the venue is. We are very excited to be holding our tournaments in part of their special event space this year!

Event venue and area hotels are all within a short drive of the Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport (MSP). Metro Transit also runs busses and light rail in the area with stops near FFG.

Thursday, July 13th - Welcome Kick-Off Event (see below)
Friday, July 14th
- 9:30 AM - First Edition - 2017 North American Continentals Qualifier (Day 1)
- 1 PM - Second Edition - Standard Constructed
- 6:30 PM - First Edition - 2017 North American Continentals Finals (Day 2)
- Finals will be top 4 qualifiers, 3 rounds of swiss pairings. Deck changes or modifications are allowed between qualifiers and finals.
- 7 PM - Tribbles - Open Play
Saturday, July 15th
- 10:30 AM - Second Edition - 2017 North American Continentals Qualifier (Day 1)
- 11 AM - First Edition - OTSD Sealed
- 7 PM - Second Edition - 2017 North American Continentals Finals (Day 2)
Finals will be top 4 qualifiers (or top 8 if over 32 players), 3 rounds of swiss pairings. Deck changes or modifications are allowed between qualifiers and finals. - 7:30 PM - Tribbles - Open Play
Sunday, July 16th
- Noon - Tribbles - 2017 North American Continentals
DECKLISTS
Printed decklists or deck builder ID numbers are required for all Continental events (listed in bold above). Please have your decklists ready to turn in at registration time. Deck changes or modifications will be allowed between the qualifiers and the finals.
Registration for all championship qualifiers begins 30 minutes prior to the start of each event.
WELCOME KICK-OFF EVENT

Thursday, July 13th, 5 - 10 PM Our friends at Fallout Shelter Arcade are helping us kick off the weekend with a bang! Play against your friends in live simulator gaming or on one of their arcade cabinets, bring along some tabletop games to share, or join in on some casual Tribbles games. They will be offering special rates for games in the pods all night, and we'll have some food and beverages to share - please feel free to bring something to share if you like (no alcohol please). |
Still not enough? There are tons of local attractions, both near the venue and across the Twin Cities area, and the summer is the time to be here!
