Manassters Updates

by Ben Hosp, Manassters Master

19th January 2018

Some assorted updates:

Hall of Fame Format

Please note that the Second Edition Trek Masters event will be Hall of Fame Format. This means that a few of the most-played cards have been "retired" and cannot be in your deck for this format. You can find out more about Hall of Fame Format, and cast a ballot for the "Class of 2018" here: https://www.trekcc.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=34644. The final selections for which cards are being retired for Hall of Fame format for 2018 will be announced on January 27.

Please Preregister

The planned venue for this event is my condo, so space will be at a premium. No one will be turned away for lack of space, but initial interest has greatly exceeded my expectations. If you are planning to attend, please do preregister, and please do so sooner rather than later, so I can get a clearer picture of whether I need to find an alternate venue. If you're not sure if you can make it--if you might come if you can get time off work and find a babysitter--please preregister; I'd rather have more space than I need than less.

Updated Travel Information

Anyone who wants it will be provided at least an air mattress to sleep on-site in Club Manassters. But if that doesn't work for you for whatever reason, the closest and most convenient hotel is probably the Days Inn of Manassas, 7611 Centreville Road, Manassas VA 20111, 800-329-1073.

CASH MONEY PRIZES

In addition to the Masters Promo Prizes announced earlier this week, Manassters is Sponsored By The Process(TM), meaning that John Corbett has provided CASH MONEY PRIZES for all 3 Main Events:

Second Edition

First Edition

Tribbles
