Tough Little Ship

No, the Riker boys aren't gushing about the U.S.S. Defiant again. I'm talking about another ship that was released in the Deep Space Nine expansion, the Cha'Joh. This ship was commanded by Lursa and B'Etor, the Sisters of Duras.
The ship comes with standard Cloaking Device and attributes (7-5-5) typical for an old, obsolete Bird-of-Prey, but because she may benefit from having two matching commanders, this old bird's got a lot of fight left in her. With Captain's Log in play and the sisters aboard, the WEAPONS and SHIELDS are +6. Throw in Bynars Weapon Enhancement, Senator Cretak or tactics and we're talking about some serious firepower.
A less obvious strength of the Cha'Joh is that she has no staffing requirements. This means any one Klingon or Romulan personnel can staff the ship. You can also report her to your personnel on a planet at any time via Hidden Fighter, and for armada decks, the Cha'Joh is immune to Obelisk of Masaka. Not the Defiant, but a tough little ship indeed.
Combos:
- Cha'Joh + Hidden Fighter = report at any time
- Cha'Joh + Sisters of Duras + Captain's Log = attributes 7-11-11
- Cha'Joh + Apnex + many Science Vessels = armada that's immune to Obelisk of Masaka
Deck:
Make sure you have Hidden Fighters and OFFICER or Leadership personnel in your opening hand. Download Kazon Collective, Kazon Warship with Spacedoor and Seska with Defend Homeworld. A good opening hand will have a Kazon Warship and at least two Romulan ships staffed for instant pressure on your opponent.
