Think you have what it takes to bring down some of the best Star Trek CCG players on the planet? Can you do it on their home turf? We cordially invite you to try at the 2009 North American Continental Championship, hosted in Coon Rapids, Minnesota, USA (a suburb of Minneapolis)! A variety of events will be taking place that you don't want to miss!

North American Continental Championship, Day 1
Location: Outpost 2000 and Beyond
Time: 10:00a-5:00p
Cost: $10-15 (final number coming soon)
Details: Bring your 'A'-game to beat down the best! Top 8 advance to Day 2.

World Champion's Starter Deck V-Draft
Location: Outpost 2000 and Beyond
Time: Following the last round of Day 1.
Cost: $10-15 (final number coming soon)
Details: Try this brand new format where you not only draft V-Cards, but you play with past champions Caleb Grace and Kevin Jaeger's cards!
All players will receive a random starter deck and be placed in a random draft pod of 3 or 4 people.
- Each draft pod will then draft from the complete set of V-Cards currently legal for play.
- Improved Scenery will not be drafted. Instead all players will receive a copy they must play with in their deck.
- Once More Unto the Breach will not be drafted. All players may bring their own copy to use in their deck.
- All players must use the mission "Investigate Derelict" in their deck.

North American Continental Championship, Day 2
Location: Outpost 2000 and Beyond
Time: 10:00a-8:00p
Cost: $5-10 (final number coming soon)
Details: Top 8 play in a single elimination bracket, 'best two out of three' match to proceed to the champion's table.
Winner receives a Day 1 Round 1 and a Day 1 Round 2 bye at the 2009 Star Trek CCG World Championships at GenCon.

Race to the Gamma Quadrant
Location: Outpost 2000 and Beyond
Time: 11:00a-3:00p
Cost: $5-10 (final number coming soon)
Details: This ain't your Race to the Alpha Quadrant tournament! This four-round tournament will use the following rules:
Normal Tournament rules except that at the start of the round, each player will choose a rule to apply to their opponent from the list of rules supplied. Each rule on the list will have a positive effect on that player.
