The first Continental Championships of the year are over - you can read about them in The Road to Worlds, Australian Continental Championships Review. Now it is time preview the second Continental Championships of the year in Europe:

Tyler Fultz (DJstormtrooper42). Overall rating: 1747. World rank: 12.
Tyler is part of the very competitive playgroup in West Germany that features, among others, Tobias Rausmann (garetjax) and Thomas Schneider (thsch). Despite the tough opposition, he has won 10 of the 41 tournaments he has played in the Continuing Committee era, with a 70% winning record in the 185 games he has played. He was a losing semi-finalist at the 2008 European Championships, and did not compete last year. The two affiliations he has played the most this year are
Cardassian and
Maquis. His most recent deck was
Original Series. Tyler has a Day One Round One bye for the Continental Championships.
Stuart Motley (Damulak). Overall rating: 1715. World rank: 19.
Stuart plays in Grimsby, England. He was the 2008 UK National Champion. He has won 23 of the 41 tournaments he has played in the Continuing Committee era, with a 75% winning record in the 140 games he has played. He did not play in the last two European Championships. The two affiliations he has played the most this year are

Thomas Schneider (thsch). Overall rating: 1672. World rank: 30.

Despite the tough opposition, he has won 7 of the 47 tournaments he has played in the Continuing Committee era, with a 64% winning record in the 259 games he has played. Will Hoskin (Gumbo). Overall rating: 1609. World rank: 60.
Will is the younger half of the infamous Hoskin brothers, and plays in London, England. He has won 10 of the 41 tournaments he has played in the Continuing Committee era, with a 56% winning record in the 179 games he has played. He has failed to qualify for Day Two of the 2008 and 2009 European Championships, although he did qualify for Day Two at the World Championships both years. The two affiliations he has played the most this year are

Auwerd Bijker (Auwey). Overall rating: 1593. World rank: 69.
Auwerd's most recent tournaments have been in the West of Germany alongside Tobias, Tyler and Thomas. He has not won any of the 23 tournaments he has played in the Continuing Committee era, with a 49% winning record in the 99 games he has played. He did not qualify for Day Two at the 2008 European Championships, and was a losing quarter-finalist at the 2009 European Championships. The three affiliations he has played this year are

Soren Ramme Nielsen (s_ramme). Overall rating: 1556. World rank: 104.
Soren plays in Arhus, Denmark. He has won 1 of the 8 tournaments he has played in the Continuing Committee era, with a 57% winning record in the 42 games he has played. He has failed to qualify for Day Two of the 2008 and 2009 European Championships, although he only missed out by one place in 2009. He has only played one affiliation,
