Name your new Region!

by James Hoskin, Director of Organized Play

7th February 2011

Last month, we announced that we were splitting up two regions and asked for suggestions for their new names. We have compiled those suggestions, and are asking players in those Regions to vote on the favorite.

You may only participate in this vote if you reside in one of the new Regions.

When picking a name, it might help to know what those in your neighboring Regions have to choose from, so here is a full list of options available. Maybe Deep Space 9 A and B will become Terok Nor and Deep Space 9? Maybe Australia will be divided into Kazon sects? We'll find out in a couple of weeks!

If you believe that you are entitled to participate in this vote, but are unable to see the question below, please check your tournament profile to see which Region you are recorded as being a member of:

  1. Login to this site (via the forums.)
  2. Click on "Tournaments" near the top left of the page, to enter the tournament area.
  3. Click on "Update Profile" in the top left, to see your tournament profile.
  4. Check the pin in the map is at your approximate location.
The Region you are a member of is based upon this pin. If it does not correspond to your current location, please move it to the correct position (it doesn't have to be your exact location, it can be the nearest town or city) and then click on the "Update Profile" button to save those changes. By reloading this page, you should now be able to see the question below. If you are still unable to vote, please contact me directly for help.

This vote will close on Monday 21st February 2011.
