Now Hiring: Second Edition Brand Manager

by Charlie Plaine, Chairman

28th February 2011

In order to accommodate our ever-growing community and in order to provide redundancy for key responsibilities, we are looking for several members of our community to join our staff of volunteers. While this is a volunteer position, we do offer a free premium membership to all of our staff as well as other perks and our thanks.

Second Edition Brand Manager
Over the past several years, the number and frequency of our expansion releases has increased significantly, with more plans for the future. Due to the increasing workload, we are looking for a volunteer to take over management of the Second Edition expansion release and promotion schedules.

Brand Managers will guide expansions through their workflow cycles, ensuring that deadlines are being met and that the resources required for the expansion's release are available at the right times. However, the primary work of the Brand Managers will be in managing information about the expansion leading to its release: developing spoiler schedules, coordinating with Marketing to advertise the expansion, etc.

The Second Edition Brand Manager will be part of the Department of Second Edition. It is expected that the individual in these positions will be required to put in an average of three (3) to five (5) hours of time per week in order to complete their job responsibilities; however, this workload will increase in the weeks leading up to an expansion release. The individual will undergo a period of training before assuming full responsibility for the position.

To apply for this position, complete the application form linked below. (If you are having problems seeing this form embedded below, you can access the form directly.)

You must complete the form in one sitting; you will not be able to save your progress and return later. Please be careful, as submitting multiple copies of the form may delay or invalidate your application.
