July Second Edition Rules Update

On Monday, July 7th, 2014, the Second Edition Rules Committee issued a new Current Rulings Document (CRD). As always, this CRD takes effect immediately. CRD updates are usually made on the first Monday of each month. The CRD is available for download via the link on the front page, or directly via https://www.trekcc.org/op/ST2ECRD.pdf.

This month's CRD contains changes to the mission attempt sequence previously outlined in the CRD.

The primary one is to extend the window for "while facing a dilemma" and "while attempting a mission" abilities to after all dilemma actions are complete- including actions that take place after the dilemma has been placed somewhere. The sequence had previously been interpreted to mean that Jonathan Archer, Damaged Captain was vulnerable to Hard Time. With the upcoming release of Project Martha, this interaction could have become more common and the RC wishes to streamline the rules structure prior to that.

The Second Edition Rules Committee is scheduled to release an update to the CRD on the first Monday of each month.
