Daniel Matteson is our Social Media Manager

by Charlie Plaine, Chairman

22nd May 2015

Though The Continuing Committee has long had a Twitter account (@TrekCC), a Facebook page and a Google+ page, we've only occasionally used those as resources. Several months ago we identified a need for someone to take command of all of our social media, and recruited for a Social Media Manager volunteer to join The Continuing Committee. Today, I'm proud to announce that Daniel Matteson [OKCoyote] has accepted our offer and is the new Social Media Manager.

It's our hope that the Social Media Manager will not only manage all of our various social media accounts, but help bring them to life. We'd like our various social media to be two-way channels of communication between The Continuing Committee and the community. With a dedicated volunteer in charge of managing these channels, we're confident they can not only be a reliable source of information, but of feedback as well.

Daniel had the following to say after accepting this position:

I am very pleased to accept this position and have the chance to promote and influence the games I've played and been a fan of for so long. I look forward to giving our social media platforms some much needed attention, with the goals of getting information out to all our players and fans as it becomes available as well as encouraging social interaction. I want to thank Charlie and the Continuing Committee for this great opportunity, and I'll see you all on social media!

We're excited to see how the use of our social media can grow with Daniel at the helm. Please join me in welcoming him aboard!
