2015 World Championships Global Side-Event Challenge

by Matthyas Kiraly, Director of Organized Play

9th August 2015

With the return of the Star Trek CCG World Championships to beautiful Sydney, Australia, we are once again seeing the return of a fan-favourite event, the World Championships Global Side-Events Challenge!

We are offering players around the world a chance at scoring the awesome 2015 World Championships foils, but in 2015 we have upped the ante: this year will see one of our awesome playmats added to the prize pool! How good is that?

The game is simple:

2015 World Championships Global Side-Event Challenge

The Objective - Win a Star Trek CCG First Edition or Second Edition tournament from the 23rd to the 27th of September 2015 inclusive

The Prizes - A chance at the following: one of five (5) sets of the three exclusive World Championships virtual promos; one (1) The Continuing Committee playmat

How to Enter - All you need to do is register your event in the Tournament system, and post all the results by the end of Sunday the 4th of October 2015. Your event must be fully sanctioned per sanctioning guidelines in the Organized Play Guide. Feel free to advertise your event in the Local Tournaments forum.

After the 4th of October, we will randomly draw the names of five (5) winners from the events held during World Championship weekend to each receive a full set of all three World Championship promos, then a sixth name will be drawn for who will receive the playmat!

"But Stoovie, what are the Worlds promos going to be?"

The 2015 World Championship promos are going to be absolutely fine works of art, and spoilers will be going up on the front page very soon, so keep your eyes firmly fixed on www.trekcc.org!
