It is my great pleasure to announce that Ross Fertel [Faithful Reader] has accepted our offer to become the new Second Edition Brand Manager. His final appointment to the position is subject to a public request for comment period, where we invite all of you to ask questions and share thoughts on the appointment. Ross brings a lot of energy and passion and unique points of view to the team, and is willing to challenge many of the assumptions of our Second Edition department.
Ross had this to say about his selection for this position:
I am more than happy to accept the position of Second Edition Brand Manager. Particularly, I'm eager to use the structure set up by Nick Yankovic and be as great for Second Edition as Christoffer Wilker is for First Edition. This is a wonderful opportunity that I am looking forward to. I have worked with the staff in my capacity as a Creative and Writing Team member; this will be deepening of our professional relationships. To my new fellow staff members, I am glad to be aboard.
I would be remiss if I didn't thank Charlie, James and David, in that order, for helping me get where I am today.
Ross is already taking time to learn our current structure and procedures and is making plans for his formal appointment as 2EBM. The Second Edition Brand Manager is responsible for all of our Second Edition production and maintenance efforts, and is the procedural overseer of the game.
