Do You Feel Lucky?

Ever since the big box o' foils was unpacked and sorted, there has been speculation as to when and how many of these foils would be made available to the players and collectors. The Continuing Committee is proud to announce that many of these foils will be available in a series of quarterly raffles.

Each raffle will have prizes ranging from foils (random lot and specific choice) to packs and other non-CCG goodies (books, DVDs, etc.). Raffles will be held live and online each quarter, and will give everyone a chance to obtain some of the cards they might not otherwisehave acquired.

Raffle entry tickets will be available to players and collectors in a variety of ways, in order to make sure that anyone that would like to enter is able. First and foremost, each tournament kit will include two (2) raffle entry tickets - so every local tournament will give a chance to win. (Higher-level events will also distribute raffle entry tickets in greater quantities than the lower-level events.)

Any registered member of the community may send a self-addressed, stamped envelope (or equivalent international option) to The Continuing Committee to request a raffle entry ticket. This option is limited to one per person per quarter.

All premium members will receive a free raffle entry ticket each month of their membership. In addition, every $10 in donations will result in a free raffle entry ticket for the donating individual, if the donation is not made anonymously.

These are just some of the ways you can get your hands on a raffle entry ticket! But what can you win with the raffle tickets? Here is a list of just some of the prizes you can get for our first raffle, to be held live and online on Saturday, March 21st:

• Over twenty (20) tournament foils
• Five (5) copies of the Earth (Lush and Beautiful Home) foil
• Rare foils including Protect the Escapees, Abduction, and Desperate Sacrifice
• An Agonizing Encounter foil
• A complete play set of Series I Virtual AI Promo Cards
• The Star Trek Captain's Log Fan Collective DVD set

Raffle tickets issued from October 1, 2008 through March 21, 2009 will be eligible for this first raffle drawing. Official rules and a detailed prize list will be made available well in advance of the March 21st drawing. Individuals must have the raffle entry tickets to redeem their prizes, so keep those tickets safe!
