(Continued from Part 1)
Borg
- Seven of Nine (Prodigal Daughter) (This Side of Paradise) - While her interrupt protection is costly, she does have great skills and attributes. Unfortunately, you'll have to pay full cost to play her, since she isn't a Drone and can't be swapped in by the Queen.
- Two of Two (Adaptation Drone) (Favor the Bold) - An adapt that doesn't take up space in your hand and can be retrieved with the Queen. You need to name the dilemma at the start of the mission attempt, but I'm not picky.
Klingon
- Klag (Second Officer) (Virtual Promo, Favor the Bold) - Remember how every Klingon has Honor and Officer, and then gets stopped by Personal Duty and An Issue of Trust? Not anymore. There aren't many Klingon cards on this list, but this one guy more than makes up for it.
- Exchange Program (Peak Performance) - Klingons have a lot of good interrupts, but you won't need The Promise against Tragic Turn piles, or Relentless against wall piles. Swap a copy of one out for this, and download the one you need. And, if you've already got the one you need, you can use this to "assimilate" an opponent's annoying personnel hiding at his or her headquarters.
Romulan
- Kalenna (Sentry) (This Side of Paradise) - Good skills and attributes, and an ability that can either be used as a mini-Neral or as part of a larger strategy.
- Neral (Seasoned Politician) (Favor the Bold) - Not quite as flexible as Klag, since Romulan Leaders and Officers seem to not have Treachery half the time, but still a great card to have around (also, he's another Praetor worth playing who can activate your Prejudice and Politics).
Ferengi
- Reyga (Young Scientist) (Favor the Bold) - This guy has put the Ferengi on the map, if still only the very edges - he can nullify Tragic Turn and many of the heavy hitters that come with it.
- Quark (Vastly Outnumbered) (Allegiance) - Mentioned in the DS9 section, but the same could be said for including him in a Ferengi deck.
- Opportunity Seized (Peak Performance) - Decent interrupt killer for Ferengi, paired with a Range enhancement that will be very useful if you're playing with Ferengi shuttles.
Maquis
- Amaros (Freedom Fighter) (Peak Performance) - Maquis decks tend to be big because of all the tricks they have to annoy the opponent: use this guy to get them all early on.
- Sakonna (Puzzled Interrogator) (This Side of Paradise) - Want a Sakonna that doesn't have an ability that requires you to have a captive? This is the one. And has yet another way to annoy your opponent.
- Allegiance (Peak Performance) - If you're already running Maquis hand denial and/or Organized Terrorist Activities, give this a shot.
The Original Series (TOS)
Of note: the upgrade mechanic in TOS makes them inherently splashable. If you're not using a mechanic in a particular deck, just don't pay for it.
- Giotto (Security Chief) (Peak Performance) - Good skills, hurts dilemmas that don't require skills.
- Helen Noel (Enterprise Psychiatrist) (Favor the Bold) - Her upgrade allows you to nuke non-skill dilemmas without even facing them. Can really unbalance tight, focused dilemma piles.
- Laurence T. Stone (Portmaster) (The Undiscovered Country) - Any deck that needs to play a unique personnel multiple times will want to bounce Chekov. This guy can do it, but he's pricey.
- Number One (Reputable Officer) (This Side of Paradise) - Great skills, good attributes, and an ability which, when you need it, will be a life saver.
- Montgomery Scott (Experienced Engineer) (Allegiance) - Although he's part of the Motion Picture (TMP) team, he's quite easy to add to most TOS decks as protection against dilemmas that look at cost, and if you've got a couple other high-cost people like Kirk or Sarek or Experienced McCoy, his ability can come in very handy.
- Coordinated Counterattack (Raise the Stakes) - Sick of Cluttering Irrelevancies and the like spitting on all your wall dilemmas? Enjoy.
Voyager (VOY)
- Kathryn Janeway (Regretful Leader) (Raise the Stakes) - Voyager's "artifact personnel." Has the skill list we're used to from such personnel, but also has a nice download. Unlike a number of the other artifact people, she's a persona of an existing personnel who you'll have to take out first.
- The Void Alliance (The Undiscovered Country) - Powerful skill gain for VOY with TNG flavor - and if you choose your dilemma pile right, your opponent will never get to take advantage of it.
Starfleet (SF)
- A.G. Robinson (Prototype Captain) (Raise the Stakes) - You know this story by now, artifact personnel, great skills, and hey, a nice attribute bump for ships.
- Lustful Distraction (Peak Performance) - Incredible interrupt and event disruption. This card should even make it into Mirror Starfleet since you can use it from your discard pile.
Non-Aligned
- Kes (Experienced Ocampa) (The Undiscovered Country) - Play her for cheap by discarding an event, and she'll reward your Delta deck handsomely, whether it is Voyager, Equinox, or even Delta Klingons.
- Lore (Brother and Son) (Favor the Bold) - Fewer skills than his Necessary Evil persona, but even harder for your opponent to silence.
