During a personal battle, when pairing against a duel personal with a STRENGTH enhancement card present, and because the duel personal engage their adversary together:

Would you apply the modifier first to each of the duel personal's attribute, then add those together for your total?

For example; Third and Fourth engage an enemy and have +2 STRENGTH thanks to Eight of Nineteen. Do I add 2 to Third's 5 STRENGTH and 2 to Fourth's 5 STRENGTH and then total them together for my total against my opponents card (for a total of 14)?

I'm pretty sure yes, but I couldn't find anything in the glossary that specifies either way so I just want to be sure! Duel personal are cool but can be cumbersome sometimes...
