You know they have to report to Alpha Quadrant Spaceline? Most stuff from Broken Bow / Live Long and Prosper will report at Time Locations so won't net you the draws.

Plus stone knives is a great consolation prize if you end up facing a TNG [Kli] or [Fer] deck. No disrupters for you!

Could disable phasers and disruptors as well. Not to mention Transport Inhibitor. I really wonder how the Borg could conquer whole galaxies while all they need were weapons of steel :) .

Except Shuttlepod drops, reed alert downloads, [DL] personnel, reliquary personnel, and assorted outpost reports.

There is room for [1E-AU] popping up.

One of the Q Tent options.
Defend homeworld, almost always.
AMS if I have an outpost seeded.
A way to DL or seed a ship.
Draw engine(s) - KFC or the like.
Some AU/Empathy if playing in a meta that favores QI if not expecting heavy use by opponents I won't bother and relieved on what the deck happens to have.

What I almost never include QI at least locally for sure it's a weak dilkemma here with no kill component and to many options to pass it to do targeted skill drain, and adaptive players that will pass most/all options with their main team. I get a lot more turns of stall out of dillemmas like scientific method or berserk changeling needing 3 of a skill I can target.

Defend Homeworld ends up in pretty much every deck, but for different reasons. If I'm using any Ref stuff at all, it's an auto-include since it's the one Ref card that's useful in every game. Sometimes it sets up a play or draw engine (e.g. Telak or Deyos). Sometimes I have a bunch of great SECURITY personnel and I want to be able to download the right one for different situations. Sometimes I'm using DNA Security Scan.

The original Q's Tent is another. I hate being forced to attempt a mission with 4 personnel when I can solve it with 2. If I think I need any Ref cards I can still put them in my tent or even in my draw deck. I also often stock Tents in my draw deck, and IMHO it's the most underrated card in the game (though it certainly doesn't belong in every deck). I'd rather play a game where I can access powerful situational cards when needed than play a game that's just about spewing out the highest volume of random cards.

I'm a Doctor, not a Bricklayer shows up a lot because it's a personnel download I can use during my opponent's turn.

I use Cytherians a lot because it's fun, effective, and I don't have time to come up with any new dilemma ideas.
