Two part Q:

1. Are you required to divulge the size of your hand to your opponent upon request?

2. Assuming the answer to #1 is no, what happens if a player tries to use handshake for its first function but it is determined that their opponent has the same number of cards or less in their hand; does the handshake simply get discarded, or does it stay in the player’s hand because the conditions for it did not exist?
