Not sure if this is the right place to check, but I'll be around Chicago (a little bit north in the suburbs) for my work the next 2 and a half months.

Are there any players close? I didn't bring any deck, but would be cool to meet up or so. And are there any nice game-stores in that area? Any advice on what's cool to do around there, let me know!

Yes, the Chicago group plays pretty regularly - next 2e tourney is on Feb 25th. I'm sure they can help you out with a deck (and in case she doesn't see this thread, you can PM Maggie directly- jadziadax8 )

If you like animals, I recommend the Brookfield Zoo and Shedd Aquarium - we enjoyed going to both when we lived out there. Also, the Field Museum (natural history) is amazing - it's located in downtown right next to the Shedd.
