Introduction |
I was playing with a variation of a Cadet deck I'd seen Thomas Schneider play at the 2011 British Nationals. Any changes were made through necessity (not having some cards), rather than through design (bar the inclusion of AFMD and the now printable G-PT). |

Round 1 | | Stuart Marsh | FL (0) |
Stuart was playing an AU TNG deck. I had completed POM fairly swiftly, and thanks to the Tacking Enterprise-D being staffed, along with having her Commander aboard, I had scored myself 50 points. Unfortunately, I didn't have the PADDs needed to attempt Restore Errant Moon, so I decided to tackle the Sphere Network, then complete an "easy" Avert Danger to push me over the edge. I managed to get half of that done. Unfortunately, my dilemma pile couldn't quite stop Stuart. The game ended with the score at 100-100, and a Full Loss for me. |

Round 2 | | William Hoskin | FW (+95)View opponent's ReportView original Report |
Will was playing New Borg Dissidents. I'd been prepared for something like this, and crossed my fingers that I'd draw into the G-PTs and AFMD to slow them down. I did. 2 G-PTs stopped the The New Resistance kicking off (while a 3rd dealt with Unyielding), AFMD slowed the peeps down a little, while "God" scuppered a couple of mission attempts (as Janeway and First, Unstable) were nowehere to be seen. My Cadets and the odd fattie managed to do their jobs. Full Win for me. |
Confidence was fairly good after beating James in the first round, unfortunately didn't go well against a solid deck from Danny. Bloody Cadets. I thought I would be able to survive this as my dilemma pile had a couple of Moral choices, Curt reprimand and a few other choice anti cadet dilemmas but when Danny blew up my Unyielding and then my two copies of The New Resistance with Grav plating I was in trouble. Well Played Danny I could only hold him for so long and I may have been able to complette my first mission on my next turn but Danny with a little help from "God" pushed me off my pedestal. Well Played Danny |

Round 3 | | Nicholas Yankovec | FL (-40) |
Nick was playing New Dominion Traders. I'd been prepared for something like this, and crossed my fingers that I'd draw into the G-PTs and Luther Sloan to slow them down. I only did half of that - Sloan was useful for destroying the events placed in my core to destroy the events in Nick's core. Sadly it wasn't enough, and the decent combo of high Strength Jemmies, Martok Founder, Odo (Founder, I think?) and a handful of Aquisition personnel made the missions walkthroughs. Full Loss to me. |
