Ferengi Phasmid v0.o

Looks like one thing (sorptive...) but is another... Using mission set bluff to confuse seeding decisions... (Ken Tufts FED SCI DIP).

OVERALL: This is supposed to be a combination SpeedSolve/Bonus point hunter deck. Two mission wins is facilitated with FMO capture and Labor Camp/process Ore: Mining.

Get the FTP on Host Metaphasic Mission. Seed D'Kora to FTP. AMS to the FTP: Dr Syrus and Mogor (TWT).

Turn one: KFC is the preferred way to go as the turn's first action and card play. Make free plays where possible, there are three options (FMO,AAH and SD) on the first turn. Convert CM/KFC card draw(s) from one of the free plays into DHW. The first turn DL ITP personnel is Telak from the Tent. Telak sets up turn 2 on Fps for NA Droids at FTP.

Kurdon is Key for space attempt. Deck is short SECURITY and LEADERSHIP so hitting the Personal Duty and Friendly Fire/God/V'Ger is painful. However, only one of the SECURITY personnel (Berik) is stopped by personal Duty, so Captain Picard is the DL of choice for FF here. Additionally, both Quark and The Trois overcome V'Ger. Lower Decks and Taking Charge help to beat GOD.

What you are looking to see is a DaiMon on ship by Orders Phase for Turn one. Undock move DaiMon to nearest Planet mission to flip Taking Charge to DL Process Ore: Mining. Geology is critical here but with 7 instances in the deck it should be an easy set up with the draws. Lurin has a SD but I think using Taking Charge on turn two or three to reveal that as a strategy is key to not tipping the opponent off to draw and points strategy.

Goal is to get two missions, 1p&1s of any value and then to augment win points needed with Labor Camp curtesy of Valuable Prisoner in the Seed.

Dilemma Pile Strategy

NEEDS WORK/FINISHING:

Planet 1 and 2 --> Temptations of Flesh --> Ferengi Ambush: DL Taar, Letek, Mordoc (TNG) with Energy Whip --} PICK A FIGHT! Whip stuns target of choice, [Flip} Captured to snag target Mid-fight. Then try to kill someone in the fight, or have one of the Ferengi Die IOT flip Valuable Prisoner to move the dead guy to the appropriate side. Their dead guy goes to Forced Labor Camp with VP simultaneously DL Labor Camp on to Forced Labor Camp; in the event of your guy getting captured, he becomes a target for Bribery and 10 points from VP. (If no bribery, move your guy to place where a love interest or hippocratic oath has move a member of their crew to a planet themselves to make a rescue possible). Either way, loads of bonus points possible. Gets points from FMO, and Labor Camp on a Forced-Labor Camp. Plus and additional card draw each turn... Once Ligos VII is solved. Final dilemma in pile is Quantum Incursions.

VS. Matchups

Strengths: Can get multiple D'Koras out IOT avoid OG.
Weaknesses: NO HQ, Weak outpost, Weak Ships
(Running Metaphasic Shields, Ablative Armor, and Paxtan shinanigans)

BORG: Bad-Match-Up!

Weaknesses: No way to repel Borg Assault/Beam in
Multiple Dilemma sets

HOLOGRAMS: Did not see this deck
Strengths: Dilemma sets and Tommygun
Weaknesses: Not great at knocking out Ship's holodeck... no way to really get after

Bajoran and Cardassian Nors: Solid
Strengths: sites that allow free reports and card plays. Allows for off balancing the opponent and triggering valuable prisoner when earlier in the game.
Weaknesses: Greater Glory prevents the takeover.

StarFleet: difficult matchup
Strengths: More card plays and dilemma filter well.
Weaknesses: Does not suffer misplays. Mistakes that low the deck down are the death knell for this matchup.
