What's in a Badge?

Since there's been some asking, here are your answers. Below is a comprehensive list of all badges currently available, how you can get them, and what they mean. As new badges become available, I'll periodically update this list.

You'll notice that there are two copies of each badge, one with a white border and one with a black border. The black border "limited edition" versions of the badge are given to Premium Members of the website. Anybody else receives the white border edition.

If you want to know where you can see your badges, that will depend on what type of badge it is. All badges will show up in your profile screen (click on your username from anywhere on the boards to see this). In addition, the most recent badge in the Donor series and any recent tournament placing badge (non-participation) will show up under your name next to each post that you make on the forums. And of course all of your tournament badges will show up on your tournament profile next to the event that you earned the badge at.

Contributor Badges
		Continuing Committee Member	This individual is a member of the Continuing Committee
		Continuing Committee Member - Retired	This individual is a former member of the Continuing Committee
		Donor '08	This individual donated money to The Continuing Committee during the initial fund-raising drive
		Donor (TUC)	This individual donated money to The Continuing Committee shortly after The Undiscovered Country came out (in lieu of purchasing new cards normally)
		Donor (FTB)	This individual donated money to The Continuing Committee shortly after Favor The Bold came out (in lieu of purchasing new cards normally)
		Donor (RTS)	This individual donated money to The Continuing Committee shortly after Raise The Stakes came out (in lieu of purchasing new cards normally)
		Donor (TSoP)	This individual donated money to The Continuing Committee shortly after This Side of Paradise came out (in lieu of purchasing new cards normally)
		Donor (Allegiance)	This individual donated money to The Continuing Committee shortly after Allegiance came out (in lieu of purchasing new cards normally)
		Donor (ID)	This individual donated money to The Continuing Committee shortly after Infinite Diversity came out (in lieu of purchasing new cards normally)
		Donor (PP)	This individual donated money to The Continuing Committee shortly after Peak Performance came out (in lieu of purchasing new cards normally)
		Writer	This individual is a member of the Writing Team, regularly contributing articles to the site
		Level 1 Judge	This individual has passed their Level 1 judging exam, and is certified to run tournaments up to that level
		Level 2 Judge	This individual has passed their Level 2 judging exam, and is certified to run tournaments up to that level
		Level 3 Judge	This individual has passed their Level 3 judging exam, and is certified to run tournaments up to that level
		Level 4 Judge	This individual has passed their Level 4 judging exam, and is certified to run tournaments up to that level
Tournament Badges
		Regional Champion	This individual has won a Regional Championship event
		Regional Participant	This individual participated in a Regional Championship event
		National Champion	This individual has won a National Championship event (country indicated by background flag)
		National Runner-Up	This individual has placed second at a National Championship event (country indicated by background flag)
		National Second Runner-Up	This individual has placed third at a National Championship event (country indicated by background flag)
		National Participant	This individual has attended a National Championship event (country indicated by background flag)
		Continental Champion	This individual has won a Continental Championship event
		Continental Runner-Up	This individual has placed second at a Continental Championship event
		Continental Semi-Finalist	This individual has finished in the Top 4 at a Continental Championship event
		Continental Quarter-Finalist	This individual has finished in the Top 8 at a Continental Championship event
		Continental Participant	This individual has attended a Continental Championship event
		World Champion	This individual has won a World Championship event
		World Runner-Up	This individual has placed second at a World Championship event
		World Semi-Finalist	This individual has finished in the Top 4 at a World Championship event
		World Quarter-Finalist	This individual has finished in the Top 8 at a World Championship event
		World Top 16	This individual has finished in the Top 16 at a World Championship event
		World Participant	This individual has attended a World Championship event
		Chairman's Challenge Winner	This individual won a Chairman's Challenge special event
		World Championship Trek "Chairman's Trophy" Winner	This individual placed first in WCT Season Points
