Matt Zinno is the New First Edition Errata Team Lead

by Cristoffer Wiker, First Edition Brand Manager

7th October 2016

After Second Edition's great success with its Errata team it's time for us to make some changes as well. The Errata team lead will report to the Brand Manager and work with the team evaluating cards in need of errata, specifically the ones on the Watch List, and working on the cards on the Ban List to find good and stable versions to test.

Being a part of the team since the start, Matt Zinno [commdecker] has now decided to step forward and take over as team lead.

I'll let Matt present himself here:

I have been collecting and playing ST:CCG since 1996. During many of the Decipher years (particularly from, let's say, the release of the DS9 expansion to the release of Holodeck Adventures), I was a big presence on the boards, authoring the "Decker's Challenge" series and even attaining an unofficial status of rules guru.

In the Continuing Committee era, I have loved the community aspect of the game. It's easy to meet fellow enthusiasts from all over the world, and to get involved not only in consuming this great game, but also helping to shape it. I have been involved as a player, as a Tournament Director (even running the Online League), and as a member of the Writing Team.

I joined the Errata Team in 2014, and am now happy to lead the group. We have members from the Rules and Art teams, and some members recruited from the general community, including high-level play.

Outside of ST:CCG, I live with my wife and kids in a small town near Boston, and work at a computer software company.

Let's make him feel welcome in his new volunteer position.
