Now Hiring: Second Edition Rules Manager

by Charlie Plaine, Chairman

25th October 2016

We are currently looking for a new Second Edition Rules Manager. Our current Rules Manager, Tyler Fultz, is leaving his position to focus on work with design and more time outside of the Continuing Committee. He's done an outstanding job, overseeing the game for years and developing an entirely rebuilt rulebook. Tyler has agreed to remain in the position until his replacement is selected.

Practical Evidence

The 2E Rules Manager will be the supervisor of the Rules Committee and will be the primary project manager for all rules revisions and other rules-related projects. The Rules Manager also serves as a member of the Continuing Committee and is responsible for filing regular status reports. The detailed job description appears below:

For details about the job description, responsibilities and relationships, please check out the posting on the volunteer page.

To apply, please send a private message (PM) to Faithful Reader with your name, email address, and a brief summary of your experience as a tournament director/judge for Second Edition. Finally, please also include a brief paragraph about why you feel you would be a good fit for this position. We will be following up with qualified candidates to schedule interviews in the forthcoming weeks.

Note: An internal candidate is being considered for this position. However, all applicants are welcome and will be considered equally.

Ross (Faithul Reader) will lead a team in conducting interviews and recommending a candidate for the final position. We would like some members of the community to be involved in the interview and selection process. If you are not interested in the position itself, but interested in helping to select the candidate, please also contact Faithful Reader via PM.
