Wait a Second ...

by Ross Fertel, Second Edition Brand Manager

1st April 2017

Hey, hey, hey! *elbowsin* Just wait a moment! First Edition isn’t the only game who’s decided to get in on the conversion game. Second Edition staffers immediately saw the potential for Tribbles conversions when they saw what was being done by the 1E folks. Who better to get in on the Conversion game than the originators?

Sadly, the new Clone mechanic never made it past playtesting, nor was it especially original. However, Battle was an easy conversion, allowing Klingons a new way to score bonus points, enhancing a very player interaction intensive deck. Thinking of Quark weaseling out of a situation made Evade a natural complement to mission attempts. Bajorans are going to HATE Time Warp. Finally, someone who we'll call J. Corbett, er, John C. made a comment on Freeze “****, just make that Freeze a real card.”

Don't forget that these cards are all backwards compatible, so First Edition players can once again join in the fun. What, you didn't think this was just First Edition?
