Happy Army Birthday!

by Ross Fertel, Director of Second Edition

14th June 2019

This past Month, we celebrated the American Holiday of Memorial Day. We took the time to thank those who have served our contry. There is someone in my local playgroup who has served in the armed forces and I know there are several others in their respective countries. I want to take a moment tot ahnk them for their service.

Visit the forums. There's a thread on the forums debating the virtues of Cyrano Jones, both in and out fo commodities and crimes. What do you think? Or, you can go to the deck design and let my First Edition counterpart know what you would like him to play.

Dream. Once a month, Pazuzu makes a dream card contest. Part of a yearlong project, he gives you a theme to design a card around. Note that you have to vote on the previous months entries for it to count. This month's theme: The Final Frontier.

Travel. There's only one tournament planned for the coming week, in Atlanta, Georgia. Hopefully everyone else is gearing up for various Continentals.

Look over a deck. At the time of this writing, there was only one deck posted for the past weekend. In Texas, John Corbett played the newest faction in a deck called Empty Threats. This Terra Prime deck goes more of the mission solving route using the tricks of Starfleet along with those of Alternate Universe humans. Along with this last group, Lineage gets a lot of mileage. Though the Damage power is reduced, there is mileage with Consume.

That was a short one this month. No doubt next week's will make up for it, and then some with two continental events. I've been doing these for half the year, is there anything you would like to see in these going forward? I made big adjustments based on comments, what more would you like to see? Let me know in the forum thread.
