Two Second Edition Errata Today

by Stefan Slaby, Second Edition Errata Manager

7th December 2020

Two Second Edition cards receive errata today:

Relativity has been winning high-level tournaments consistently. We've considered many small balance changes, and tested some. As it often is with balance changes, this has proven to be a polarizing topic, both among testers and the errata team. Today we're releasing only the single change that got the most support: Temporal Transporters can henceforth only retrieve non-[Fut][Fed] personnel from the discard pile. (In case you're wondering, "non-" applies only to the subsequent icon or word, which here is the [Fut] icon.) This should impact both Relativity's speed and their resilience - but we'll keep monitoring the timeline, to see if further interventions are necessary...

Temporal Transporters
Replicate – Discard two cards from hand. (You may discard two cards from hand when you play this event. If you do, put this event in your hand instead of destroying it.)
Temporal. Place a non-[Fut][Fed] personnel from your discard pile aboard your unique Temporal ship. Destroy this event.

Also, at 11-11-11, the Cosette was just too good for its class. Her attribute enhancement now gets the customary (limit +3). Quatal Prime's ability should be enough incentive to use a full set of Region: Demilitarized Zone missions.

Cosette
This ship is attributes +1 for each of your Region: Demilitarized Zone missions (limit +3).
Order – Reveal the top card of an opponent's deck. If it is a personnel, name an event. Cards that opponent owns may not prevent or destroy that event you own until the start of your next Execute Orders segment. You may do this only once each turn.

These changes are effective immediately (except for ongoing online tournaments). Errata is scheduled for the first Monday of the month.
