In the leadup to The Motion Pictures, Decipher put out a contest called Prodigal Sons (and Daughter). The goal was to predict what property logo the main cast of The Original Series would have. With a whopping eight property logos making their debut, this was an opportunity to show off some next new shiny fixtures.

Several of the personnel in The Motion pictures have a version in Second Star to the Right. Therein lies a fun little logic puzzle for me to present to you.

Below are some statements about every single personnel who appears in both sets. Names are omitted for you to figure out. Take Dr. McCoy, for example. His card from The Motion Pictures is from The Undiscovered Country. If there was a card in Second Star to the Right with a version of him in bearded form from The Motion Picture, the statement would say 'One personnel from The Motion Pictures appears five property logos earlier in Second Star to the Right,' because The Motion Picture is five films earlier than The Undiscovered Country. To make things easier, we'll consider the Voyager Episode Flashback part of Generations, the seventh movie.

Without further ado, there are six personnel in The Motion Pictures that have a version in Second Star to the Right.
