Second Edition Rules Committee Looking For New Members

Are you an experienced tournament director and judge? Do you enjoy debate and discussion, and are you confident in your knowledge of the Second Edition rules? Then you might be one of the people we're looking for to join the Second Edition Rules Committee.

In order to expand its ability to participate in public discussion and in order to diversify the experiences of its members, the Second Edition Rules Committee is looking for one or two new members from the community of Second Edition players.

Interested applicants should:

• Have played in one or more Second Edition tournaments in the past six (6) months
• Be active members of the community
• Be willing and able to visit the forums daily and participate in discussions
• Be capable of extreme discretion

Other strong qualities that would be beneficial to applicants:

• Participant in frequent tournaments
• Participant in high-level tournaments
• Be experienced in adjudicating Second Edition tournaments and making rulings on game situations
• Experienced in running tournaments (organized play procedure)
• Experienced with running high-level tournaments

• A link to their player profile
• A brief history of their experience as a Second Edition player and/or tournament director
• A brief explanation of their local play group (if any)
• A brief explanation of their daily use of trekcc.org (average time spent, times available, etc.)

We're looking to get through this process quickly, so interested parties should apply as soon as they are able. There is not a definite deadline for applications, and we will begin interviewing candidates as soon as we receive applications.
