(Small) Rules Update, January 2023

Happy New Year! We are delivering this month's rules update on a Tuesday instead of Monday due to the New Year's Day observance. (Your faithful rules manager was busy having a holiday.)

This month is very light; there are no functional changes.

Then shall we see what's in this month's Recent Rulings Document? Yes, let's.

Aamin Marritza is a Gul

This was ruled years ago, but never put in the Glossary. Marritza is a Gul because his lore says that he was disguised as one, and disguising yourself as a characteristic confers that characteristic (see also Vedek Dax). However, the wording is unusual and a little ambiguous, so we are pleased to give our formal ruling.

Coming Attractions: Project Solo

The HTSBEG (check the Glossary) has informed me that Project Solo, the third and final expansion of Movies Block, has been fully approved by Rules and will be ambushing you in the Bassen Rift soon!
