Surprise (Discord) Party!

Demoing at PAX last year, the most common question I got was: "Is there a discord I can join?" All I could do was say yes, hand out the traditional Second Edition business card, and hope they could find the links to the Trek discords in the nightmare that is our website's front page. Obviously, that strategy was not very successful.

Likewise, it's one thing to tell people that the deck they played can be printed, but handing them the trekcc.org url and hoping they'll either (A) go to the "New? Beam in here!" link and happen to expand the Second Edition subsection and follow that link to the beginner decks or (B) go to the forum jungle, find one of my posts, and follow my signature link... that wasn't a plan that I could count on working out either.

So now we have three new business cards that you can print and hand out to potential players. One for the TrekCC discord server, one for the Dojo discord server, and one for the Beginner Decks page (special thanks to James Heaney for making a short link for the Beginner Decks page, so that the QR code wasn't a mess). Surprise Party works well; it can go in just about any Beginner Deck, and it has so little game text that the QR code can be large enough to remain functional on even the most ancient home inkjet printer.

So print some out! Have them on hand to give to people who show any interest in this silly game. Let's make some friends.
