Voting for the 2024 Period of Review Will Begin Soon

by Maggie Geppert, Executive Officer

1st February 2025

Voting for the Period of Review will go live sometime on Saturday, February 1st and will continue through 11:59 pm on Saturday, February 8th. At this time, all members can vote to remove individual Board members from their positions. Remember that if you like the job we're doing, please vote no. You can review all the questions posed to members, along with their answers, in the Period of Review board.

Members are anyone with an active Premium Membership. All current volunteers and anyone who ran a tournament in 2024 were granted a one-month Premium Membership for February so they could vote in the PoR. If you wish to vote and do not currently volunteer for the Continuing Committee (and are also not banned from posting in the Forums), you will need to purchase an active premium membership. The minimum purchase is a one-month subscription for $5. You can purchase this in the Promenade. Please PM me (jadziadax8) if you purchase a membership during the Period of Review, so I can add you to the voter roll.

We will be using an outside website (OpaVote) to conduct the vote. This will ensure both that each member gets only one vote and that those votes are confidential. Due to this use of an outside site, any member wishing to vote will also need to make sure that their email address on file with the Continuing Committee is current. To check on your email address, in the forum please go to User Control Panel --> Profile --> Account Settings. You can see a preview of what the ballot looks like here.

We appreciate the feedback of our members.
