We will have more details on The Final Challenge shortly!
We would like to extend a very special thank you to all of our eleven (11) contestants that took their time and energy to participate in this competition. The amount of work required to compete in Make it So can not be overstated, and these contestants have done so with no guarantee of reward. They all deserve a round of applause, no matter where they finished on the leader board. In addition, I would like to extend my personal thanks to our judges that took considerable time and energy to review, comment, and score the contestants cards. All of the hard work done by the contestants, judges, and community of voters is greatly appreciated. Everyone's dedication to and passion for the game is palpabale and wonderful to behold. Meanwhile, we'd like to extend our thanks to everyone who participated in voting for this eighth challenge of Make it So! Join the discussion of this challenge and the results on our forums.
What Comes Next?
The final leg of Make it So is the Final Challenge. Each of the top (2) contestants will be creating their own, fifteen (15) card boutique-style expansions. Contestants will serve as "Lead Designer" for their expansion, starting with recruiting their teams and then managing the team during the entirety of their expansions design. Since this is a challenge with a larger scope, they will have more time than they have had so far to work on their cards. The finalists will have final authority, and thus final responsibility, for their cards.
Once their designs are complete, we will turn to the public once again to review and comment each card, and each submission as a whole. Once the reviews are complete, we will be able to crown a winner and determine who will join the First Edition design team to begin work on an upcoming expansion! We will have more details about the Final Challenge soon, so stay tuned!
