European Championships 2008 - lets go!

Something Big is coming...it’s the pinnacle of the European tournament season 2008: the European Championships in Potsdam/Berlin!

Following in the footsteps of the phenomenal success of 2007, the European Organized Play Team is determined to turn this year’s continental championship into something special. Approximately 30 minutes from Berlin Central Station, right next to the royal Sanssouci Park and its famous palaces you will find the Steigenberger Hotel Sanssouci – a four star hotel decorated in the style of 1950s America! An air-conditioned function room, a cosy and elegant bar, rooms with vintage ceiling fans, all of these will be waiting for participants that will come from all across Europe.

Challenging competition, new faces, and reunions with old friends are at the centre of this unique event, a weekend full of fun and entertainment! A broad range of different tournament formats, exclusive prizes and the chance to discover new strategies were among the highlights in 2007, and 2008 will be no different. On top of that, you will have the opportunity to meet the people behind Organized Play in Europe in person. At the gaming table or at the bar, look forward to hearing exciting stories and having a great time!
