Social Media Manager

The Continuing Committee is looking for a volunteer to take on the position of Social Media Manager (SMM). The SMM will be the contact for the CC via the most common social media platforms and will be responsible for maintaining our social media presence. Some of the responsibilities will include:

The individual in the position must be familiar with Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and YouTube and be willing to manage the login information for each of those accounts. On average, he or she will need to invest a small amount of time each day to answering questions from social media, and up to 5 hours a week posting news and information.

The ideal candidate will have some or all of the following:

Applicants interested in this position should send an email to volunteers@trekcc.org. Each email should contain the applicant's name, TrekCC message board handle, and a brief paragraph about why they would be a good fit for the position. Applicants are encouraged to provide links to their own social media pages. We will be looking to fill the position early next week, so applicants are encouraged to contact us on or before Saturday, 25 April.
