Welcome to Relativity Week

by Maggie Geppert, Vice Chairman

21st October 2018

Welcome to Relativity week! For those of you 1E folks who may be confused by this, Relativity is a standalone faction in 2nd Edition, featuring the crew of the U.S.S. Relativity from the eponymous episode.  Of course, this isn’t the only future available to us and the Relativity likes personnel from All Good Things, The Visitor, Timeless, Shattered or Living Witness.

We have some fun stuff for you this week.  Charlie Plaine (MidnightLich) has a design article for Second Edition.  I’ll be checking out a slim Relativity build in my 2E Beginner deck series and I may try to fill in the last gap in my Second Edition deck builder if I get time this week. Ross Fertel (Faithful Reader) will have a meditation on time travel to round out the week.

This week’s Top 5 video brings back Justin Ford (Resistance-is-futile) to tell us his favorite Relativity stuff.

This week’s contest is brought to us by Ross Fertel. Celebrating the culmination of the second Spotlight Series, PM me with the name of the opening credits regular who has time traveled the most. We are looking for bona fide time travel, so Data waiting in a cave on Earth doesn't count. Note that they don't have to be a regular during the instance, so Ames does count for Fury. Have fun “Watching the Clock."

PM me (jadziadax8) before 11:59 pm CDT (that’s -5:00 GMT) on October 26th, 2018.  Note that this is Friday night because of Ross’ article on Saturday!  The randomly chosen winner will choose a themed First Edition or Second Edition promo card.
