Costs

For players participating in all events, a $25 entrance fee will cover all tournaments and food throughout the day. Individually, the tournaments will be $10 for 1E, and $5 each for 2E and Tribbles, with lunch and dinner costs TBD.

Silver Tin Draft

This draft event is broken down into a few parts. To begin, each player is randomly assigned one of three TNG Starter decks (Federation, Klingon, or Romulan, all version 2).

Federation: https://www.trekcc.org/1e/expansions/comingofage/TNG_Starter_Deck_FED_v2.pdf

Klingon: https://www.trekcc.org/1e/expansions/comingofage/TNG_Starter_Deck_KLG_v2.pdf

Romulan: https://www.trekcc.org/1e/expansions/comingofage/TNG_Starter_Deck_ROM_v2.pdf

In addition, each starter will have a few extra hand-picked cards to aid in deck construction.

Once each player has their affiliation assigned, they will also be assigned a draft number... and that’s when the fun begins.

In the second phase of the Silver Tin Draft, the entire contents of a Collector’s Tin - a full set of Premiere - is spread out in 9-pocket pages. In draft order, each player chooses a single card to add to their starter deck. After all players have taken a card, the draft order is reversed and all players pick a second card. This will continue until the most of cards have been taken; the number of draft rounds will be determined by the number of players.

Any Premiere cards that have errata will be replaced by the updated versions. The eleven banned cards will be replaced with cards from The Next Generation, Engage, The Sky’s the Limit, Warp Pack: Emissary, Metamorphosis, Coming of Age, or another appropriate set.

Once the Tin has been drafted, players will have an hour or so to construct their decks and have some lunch. Pairings will be drawn for four, 60-minute rounds. The best record will take home the sweet Borg-themed playmat.

Please post any questions about this event to the forum.
