Reminder: Scheduled Downtime for Site Upgrades

Usually downtime is a bad thing for a website, but not this time.

The Programming Team has been hard at work for months, updating our site's codebase. We're now at the point where we're ready to start rolling out those changes. In order to do so, we must take the site offline temporarily.

On September 12th, starting at approximately 12:00 UTC (8:00am EDT), the TrekCC website and forum will be unavailable as we implement much-needed server upgrades.

We expect the process could take most of the day. We hope it goes faster, so everyone can get back to their favorite website on all the internet.

Once we're back online, you'll see the results of the first phase of our planned overhaul: a new look for the forum. The forum will be upgraded to a new version, and with that upgrade comes a new responsive theme. This theme will allow users to view the forum from desktop or mobile browsers equally easily. Mobile users won't need to zoom in and out just to read the forum. It will automatically adjust to your screen size.
