March Madness 2022: Prelude Last Call

by Charlie Plaine, Director of First Edition

16th February 2022

We're 1 week into the voting for the prelude period of First Edition March Madness 2022, and the response has been awesome. So far, over 45 of you have voted for your favorite episodes, but we aren't done yet. The poll remains open for 5 more days, closing on Monday, February 21st. It's easy to vote! Here's the poll:

Vote in the March Madness Prelude Poll

That form might look long, but it's pretty simple. For each of the 5 series, you're first asked if you want to vote on the episodes. If you click yes, you'll see the 12 episodes we've selected and an image from each to refresh your memory. Memory Alpha is a great resource if you need further reminders about each episode's story and the cards that might appear in it. You can check the boxes for up to 4 episodes of each series. If you only want to vote for 1 or 2, go for it! Then, there's a blank text field where we invite you to pitch story concepts - not cards - you'd like to see from the episodes you picked. Finally, you're asked if you want to be eligible to be on the panel that will see the cards. Then, the process will repeat for each of the other series. If you click no on any series, you'll skip straight to the next series without having to see the episodes from a series you don't like, or don't care about. On the final page, you're asked for your email address (so we can contact you if you're selected to be on the panel), as well as your opinion about how many nouns appear in the bracket versus how many verbs.

For all the details on March Madness, seeding, and the bracket, check out last week's announcement article. For now, just remember the prelude poll closes on Monday, February 21st and the tournament bracket officially kicks off on Wednesday, March 2nd. We can't wait!
