The Regional Season continues in Yorktown Virginia...

by Charles Barhite

17th March 2008

The Star Trek CCG Regional season made its next stop in Yorktown Virginia with 12 players attending, all trying to out play, bluff, think, and guess the others.

After 5 rounds of play (only 1 round finished under time ending at 56 minutes) John "The Game" Corbett never looked back as he swept the day with 5 wins and for of them were shut-outs. One player managed to score points and one other player managed to make him play for almost the entire hour. John focused his deck around James T. Kirk Living Legend and quick missions like Automated Repair Station, Avert Danger and Geological Survey heading out from Earth: Cradle of the Federation. Dale Hanok finished second, losing only to John, with his tried and true Dominion deck that he has been playing virtually since the Dominion made their appearance back in Call to Arms. Nich Macrino squeaked into 3rd place with his TNG/Bajoran deck. with a recond of 3 and 2.

John gets the Day 1, Round 1 byes into Origins and Worlds while Dale gets the Day 1, Round 1 bye into Origins

The journey continues...
