New Search Engine

by Chris Lobban, Chief Programmer

11th June 2010

Last month, when Life From Lifelessness was officially announced, I matched the announcement with my own about a cool new database available for all of the First Edition cards. It promised lots of power and lots of chances to grow in the future.

So now, with the release of Life From Lifelessness, it's only fair that I return with another announcement... the first of the cool new tools to make use of the great new database! Yes, First Edition now has a powerful new search engine! Lots of available options to mix and match and create any custom searches you need. And it should also give you a hint of what's to come, as soon as the First Edition Deckbuilder is complete, since it'll be incorporating all the same great search features. So go play around, try it out, and have fun!

And as always, if you have any comments/suggestions/bug fixes regarding the new feature (such as incorrect results being returned, or extra fields you'd like to search on), please list them in the appropriate tracker category so that I can get them fixed or added.
