Will of the Collective Needs Your Ideas!

by Thomas Schneider, European OP Coordinator

29th October 2010

We are getting closer and closer to the final Will of the Collective 3 card. Thanks to your votes, Harry finally has a name, and from now on should be known as "Harcourt Fenton Mudd." And, of course, we also have concepts for both the First and Second Edition cards.

On the First Edition side, the winning concept is "Boosts females present." It has been submitted by karonofborg13, Hanok, Aoide Muse, and commdecker. For Second Edition, the race was much closer, and "Protects Thief personnel, Smuggler personnel and/or Crime cards," submitted by makimachine, has won by only one vote!

After this decision, it is time to have a look at the final card. Well, at least at a early version of the final card. Ladies and Gentlemen, we present to you, Harcourt Fenton Mudd!

Some of the characteristics have already been filled in by our art department, since they are pretty obvious (for example: species, affiliation and the past icon). All the rest will be filled in via cooperation with you during the next weeks.

The first step on the road to the final Harcourt Fenton Mudd card is the decision on a special skill (for First Edition) and game text (Second Edition). So we need your ideas. Keep in mind that your special skill / game text has to fit the chosen concept and has to fit on the card. The available space on a First Edition card is very limited, so please keep the special skill short. Even if space is not a big problem on a Second Edition card, a short and simple game text is usually the better choice compared to a wall of text with four triggers, three requirements, and an effect that depends on the phase of the moon.

You can suggest one special skill or one piece of game text or one of each. If you do not want to suggest anything, just keep the answer empty. Voting will stay open 'til Wednesday, November the 10th, 8AM EDT.
