Improvements to Organized Play for 2011

by James Hoskin, Director of Organized Play

5th November 2010

A lot of issues with Organized Play were raised during this past year. Now that the 2010 Championship season is over, we would like to initiate public discussion on various topics before we ask you, the players, to decide how we should proceed.

If you have any interest in helping shape Organized Play policy for the foreseeable future, please head over to the 2010 Organized Play Review and provide your thoughts. We encourage you to post your own ideas, provide feedback on other players' ideas, and debate the best solutions. Before posting, we ask that you read the Discussion Rules; in particular, the request to stay civil and respectful at all times.

On Wednesday, December 1st, we will take all reasonable suggestions from the forum and ask each member of the community to vote on their favored solution. This vote will run until Saturday, January 1, 2011. The Committee will then take the results of that vote and change the organized play rules, as necessary, in time for the 2011 championship season. If you anticipate being unable to vote during that time, please send a private message to RedDwarf with your thoughts, and I will include them in the final tally.

Now is the time to make your thoughts on Organized Play heard!
