Make it So - Challenge #3 Posted and Challenge #2 Voting is OPEN!

by Charlie Plaine, Chairman

17th October 2011

Team Delta narrowly eked out a victory over Team Gamma in Challenge #1. It's safe to assume that Team Delta is hoping to defend their win and that Team Gamma was hungry to avenge their loss. Now that Challenge #2 is complete, we need your help to decide which team will win this second of six challenges!

Challenge #2 is one of two challenges in this phase of the competition about costs. While it did offer the teams quite a bit of freedom, it also set up what might prove to be one of the competition's tightest restrictions:

Challenge #2: Eventful
Create a suite of six (6) events, each of which must have a different cost.

The challenge explanation on the MiS forums offers some thoughts and discussions about costs.

Here are the team's submissions:

Don't forget that this year, the public votes are a huge factor in each challenge's outcome. Even in Challenge #1, the public vote brought the challenge much closer than it would have been otherwise. Every vote counts! And, if you vote, you might be eligible to get a random tournament foil just for expressing your opinion!

To vote, simply fill out the survey below! Your votes will be recorded when you submit the results and saved, so that if you change your mind later, you can come back and re-vote. Voting is open from now until Midnight on the US East Coast (GMT-5) on Sunday, October 23, 2011.

In the mean time, there's no rest for the weary and our teams already have to tackle their next challenge! Our two teams of intrepid contestants will have to set aside their submissions and their worry about the votes and focus on the future, as Challenge #3 is all about the Future Icon.

Teams and interested observers can find out all the details on Challenge #3: The Future is Now on the official Make it So forums!

Good luck to our teams, both in the voting for Challenge #2 and in the design process for Challenge #3!
