TDs Playing in Regionals

The major issue preventing TDs from playing in their own Level 2 events (such as Regionals) was deck checks - how can a TD be fair if he has to check his potential opponent's decks?
Decklists and deck checks are now optional for Level 2 events. This means that a TD can choose not to do deck checks and therefore play in his or her own events.
The deadline for Regionals has been extended until midnight on 29 Feb 2008 to allow for group to apply in light of this change.
The Organized Play Guide will be updated shortly to reflect this change.
