Loss of a Friend

1967-2011

We've just received word that earlier this week a long time friend and member of the STCCG community, Chris Covell has passed away after losing his battle with cancer. Although Chris didn't stay active with the game after the foundation of the Continuing Committee, he will be remembered for his long and active role in the community, and his long hours of volunteer work for Decipher. Chris was a long-time Ambassador of the game, always very passionate about it, and put a lot of time and effort into promoting it and sharing his passion with others.

Our condolonces go out to his wife Pam (also a long-time Trek player and volunteer), and his entire family. For anybody in the area of Ames, Iowa that knew Chris, there is a visitation tonight from 5pm to 7pm at the First United Methodist Church in Ames. If anybody from the community is going, I'd ask you to please convey the regards of the entire Star Trek CCG community to Pam and her family, and let them know that we're all keeping them in our thoughts.
