Second Edition CRD Clarifies Naming Cards and Personas

by Tyler Fultz, Second Edition Rules Master

2nd January 2012

On Monday, January 2rd, 2012, the Second Edition Rules Committee issued a new Current Rulings Document (CRD). As always, this CRD takes effect immediately. CRD updates are usually made on the first Monday of each month.

The CRD is available for download via the link on the front page, or directly via https://www.trekcc.org/op/ST2ECRD.pdf. This month's CRD contains two rulings meant to clarify recently unclear interactions.

naming a card -
There is only one update this month concerning the naming of cards within certain parameters. The ruling clarifies which personas of the named card will be affected by cards like A Few Minor Difficulties and Janice Rand.

Note that the above is a summary of the rulings and is not the exact text. The exact rules text, plus examples, are in the CRD itself.

The Second Edition Rules Committee is scheduled to release an update to the CRD on the first Monday of each month. This CRD is effective immediately.
