The 2012 Australian Continental Championships week kicks off with the first qualifying heat of the Tribbles CCG Australian Continental Championships, just before the start of the Australian National Academy Championships.

11am - Tribbles CCG Australian Continental Championships QUALIFIER - Heat 1
Rounds: 5
Edition: Tribbles CCG
Format: Tribbles Constructed Deck
Cost: $2
Other: Players randomly divided into pods of four or five. Top player from each pod qualifies for the finals.

11:45am - Australian National Academy Championships
Rounds: 5
Edition: Second Edition
Format: Academy Constructed Deck (only Common, Starter, Virtual cards i.e. cards with "C", "S", or "V" rarity ONLY, as well as ANY missions)
Cost: $10
Decklists: No, but participants are encouraged to post their decklists here after the event.
Other: From the tournament listing - "A great way for new players to get experience in playing this fine CCG for the title of Australian Champion! Boosters, promos, a TREK USB stick, Trek Coffee Mug and a 3 piece box set of GAMMA WORLD RPG up as prizes (including highest placed newcomer) up for grabs, plus a fun arvo of playing TREK!"
