2019 Continentals Update: Full Schedule

by Michael Shea, Chief Ambassador

12th March 2019

North American Continentals 2019 in Atlanta, Georgia will offer a full schedule of Trek events on the weekend of June 21-June 23, 2019. Our goal is to provide local, regional, and travelling players in attendance with a great time for their money’s worth. Atlanta has a history of putting on successful and fun events, and this year will be no different. So, make your plans to be at North America’s biggest Trek event of 2019!

I do want to leave a brief note regarding tournament fees. I’m aware travel is expensive. It’s my desire to keep costs for players down as much as possible. The cost to me personally for renting venue space at the JW Marriott is significant, and the fees are intended solely to recoup that cost. I am actively soliciting benefactor donations and pursuing other avenues aimed at getting my cost down. What I can assure you of is this: if I secure the needed funds through donations, and/or if I get enough people registered, I will bring down the fees as much as possible, with the goal of hopefully eliminating them altogether. I will not profit personally from this event - any donations or fees collected in excess of the venue cost will be applied towards prize support. I’d be bad at my job if I didn’t say that if you’re interested in donating, please message me. I’m happy to publicize your donation or leave it anonymous per your wishes.

With that having been said, I am excited to release the tentative full schedule for Atlanta’s North American Continentals 2019. The other TDs and I have tried to sprinkle in a little something for all tastes here. If you’re planning on coming and you’d like to see an event held in a format that isn’t listed, please let me know. This weekend is for you, the players, and I want each of you to leave happy! So, with that, register for the events you plan on attending – preregistration is so valuable to logistics for this event. Once again, we in Atlanta are honored to host you, and I look forward to seeing you in June.
