Milestone Tournament Update

by Nicholas Yankovec, Director of Second Edition

14th March 2020

The Milestone Event is fast approaching - April 17th to 19th 2020.

A quick recap; the event consists of a 2E Masters in Hall of Fame format, and a 2E Regionals, in Unjustly format, along with a Standard constructed team tournament, a Tribbles tournament and a special game of Pointless. All in honour of a rather "important" birthday.

The venue for the event is:

NLY Building Services
The rear of Ariana Gardens
Ivy Barns Lane,
Margaretting,
Ingatestone CM4 0EW,
United Kingdom

There are limited places to stay here in Margaretting, but luckily we have a hotel on site, which is:

Best Western Ivy Hill Hotel
Writtle Road
Margaretting
Ingatestone CM4 0EH

If you book through the hotel, rates are between £94-£110 per night. However, I've been speaking to the hotel to get a better rate, and also I am pleased to announce that NLY Building Services have offered to sponsor the event, meaning we can now offer a much better room rate. To do this you will need to book through me, and can do so by letting me know through message on here (nickyank).

The rates we can offer are:

Standard double or twin room - £60 per night, up to 2 people

Executive double or twin room - £80 per night, up to 2 people OR £100 per night, up to 3 people

Double deluxe room, if you're feeling posh - £130 per night, up to 2 people

Feature room (same as deluxe with a four poster bed)  - £170 per night, up to 2 romantic people

Bridal Suite, for very romantic people - £190 per night, for 2 people (you could book for one person, but that might be a bit odd)

All rooms include breakfast, and it's a very nice English breakfast, too.

Please let me know if you need a room as soon as possible, so I can get you booked in.
